When you want somewhere nice to eat, but you don’t want to waste your money going from bad restaurant to ever worse restaurant looking for a good place, you have the option of finding restaurant reviews to help you decided where you might like to go. It used to be that you could only find these in the newspapers, and you never really knew if you could trust a food critic or not. Though they still exist, there are better ways to find the information that you are seeking.

Restaurant Reviews
There is something to be said for finding restaurant reviews from people who are just like you. A food critic is something of an oddity to me. Though I understand that they have their jobs for a good reason, I think that they perhaps put too much at stake. What they think is bad would be great for the normal person. They are often looking for ways to downplay how good a place might be rather than helping it to get more customers in the door. I don’t know if that is true, it’s just the impression that I get.
