United Kingdom’s Army lucky charm Sandbag was only recently despatched to Britain to call it a day from his invaluable duties within Iraq. After being a source of sustenance for troops Sandbag is now appreciating a well earned respite – and so what is time likened to for a busy canine, and what awaits them in retirement?

The guys were perturbed that if he was left to preserve himself their four-legged friend would be murdered by Iraqis, who hold little reverence for roving dogs. But thanks to fund-raising activity, on Facebook among other places, the Blue Cross raised more than £13,500 in just two months, allowing them to return Sandbag home. Deputy dog Sandbag is not the only dog to be afforded the appreciation he gained for his 3 efforts. Dogs may furthermore prove vital among police processes.
