If you weight train, the shoulders are an important muscle group to exercise. Every upper body exercise is going to involve them in some way, so you’ll want your deltoids to be strong without overtraining them. As long as you don’t overdo it with a huge amount of exercises and sets during your shoulder workout routine, you should be fine. You can train your shoulders with chest and triceps as part of a push-pull routine or with tricep and bicep weight training workouts so you do the arms at one workout.
