Low carb diets and good weight loss meal plans

Do low carb diets work? Lol, they certainly do. When I got up to 190 pounds, I’m 5’6? so a little overweight, I started eating nothing but meat and protein with a few slices of toast here and there. While it wasn’t a supervised low carb diet, and may be dangerous for some people it worked very well for me and I lots 30 pounds in a little less than two months. As far as I’m concerned low carb diets can work very well. As far as diets for quick weight loss go this one is pretty easy.

A few years ago my husband and I decided that we both needed to lose a few pounds. I have struggled with my weight my entire life, but my husband has only started to add a few pounds as he reached middle age. I have been on diets with girlfriends and co-workers, but I thought it may be helpful to be on a diet with the person I live with. I thought that this would help keep me focused and on track.

When I designed my weight loss meal plans I used the old food pyramid and took the required number of items from each group. I don’t like seafood or pasta so there’s hardly any ready made plan that works for me. I’m a picky eater and if you are too, designing your own personal plan for meals is the best idea.

Make sure you get some protein whether it be meat or beans or other sources of protein. Make sure you also add enough fruit and fiber to your list. I also used sugar free canned fruit as a dessert so it did it’s job in two ways.

Meal plans for fast weight loss

On the other hand if you get a plan somewhere else it more than likely will have foods on it that you don’t like. It may be perfectly written, a perfectly balanced diet but if you don’t like some of it and don’t eat it, it’s no longer a balanced diet. That’s the thing I like best about designing my own weight loss meal plans.
